Fiber lasers are inherently better suited to ultra-fast research for several
reasons, the most significant of which is flexibility - flexibility
to control pulse width, flexibility to control repetition frequency,
and flexibility to control pulse quality. We have developed a family
of test solutions based on fiber laser technology because our years
of experience in the test and measurement arena demonstrated the
overwhelming advantage of fiber laser technology over the
alternatives.
Laser Characteristics
Our family of fiber lasers feature MHz and GHz repetition rates, picosecond and
femtosecond pulse widths, pulsewidth, repetition rate and wavelength tunability, very low
jitter and high output power.
Since fiber lasers are manufactured from discrete components, dispersive and
non-linear effects can be carefully controlled, ensuring very high
pulse quality. In addition, fiber lasers can be modified to provide
custom solutions that meet even the most stringent test
requirements.
